Black and White Classic

I'm trying out some new hair styles and after doing my hair I wanted to dress up to show it off. Here's the outfit I came up with.

Outfit rundown:

Socks:  Bodyline
Blouse, shoes, rose clip: Sears

Hair close-up

The hair "horns" are a little off but I think they turned out cute. Cisco said they looked like cat ears though ^^;;

Little Darlings: Accessorize!

Lolita comic: Little Darlings

Being a lolita and a mother has given me experiences I wouldn't trade for the world! I love both my boys and luckily I have a sense of humor. I've started a comic series about the adventures of being a lolita mom called "Little Darlings". May my zany family moments bring a laugh to your day.

A quick comic

Every time I get ready my son Jaiden is always there to help, even when I don't need it. One of the things he loves to do is to hide under my petticoat and hug my legs. <3

Should I make a series with this kind of stuff? If I did what would be a good name?

Mint and Pink Bow Nails

I recently got some mint colored nail polish that wasn't too aqua looking after drying and so I made some cute nail art. A little pink and glitter nail polish on top and voila!

Sukoshicon: Destination Anime outfit 1

Just came back from Sukoshicon Destination Anime day 1. Even though it's a small convention and their first year at the Destin location I had a lot of fun today. I was so surprised at the general level of cosplay here. Everyone looks great! There were so many good cosplays today and it was awesome to see everyone all at once posing for pictures. I decided to wear lolita today and here are a few outfit shots:

Tomorrow is the Japanese Fashion Show and I'm a little nervous since I'll be one of the models. Hopefully I'll do well, wish me luck!

International Lolita Day

Sorry this post is so late, I finally went through all the photos after being so busy with Christmas. On December 3, 2011 we gathered at The Baron's Tea House for Lolita Day.

First to arrive

2011 Meetup Compilation

I hope everyone had a good New Years! Looking back on 2011 reminds me of how much fun I had with my local community. Here's a list of everything I got to do last year with my lolita buddies:

First we had a potluck picnic at the end of February. It turned out to be such a lovely day and the food was delicious! I got so many cute photos.

Food shot, I brought the cupcakes <3
Tia's beautiful strawberry salad

Then for my birthday in March I hosted a tea party at my house. It was a lot of work but I still had fun. Next time I'll try to plan a little less ambitious dishes and accept help when people offer it! :P

I got a photo with artist Kaylyn from House of Squee and fellow blogger Raegan from Her Curious Elegance

In April Kristine and I got to meet the Tallahassee girls at Freecon 7. Everyone was really friendly, thanks for having us!

In July Raegan hosted a summer time tea party. Here's her blog post talking about the details of the party.

And finally we celebrated International Lolita Day at The Baron's Tea House. I got to meet some new faces and our lolita community continues to grow. Here are some pictures I snapped while waiting for everyone to arrive:

My favorite tea; French Creme Brulee

Caramel apple salad

And then Luella was kind of us to take some photos.

This past year has been wonderful and I hope that our lovely lolita community continues to grow. I really enjoy our meetups together and spending time with my fellow frilly enthusiasts. May 2012 be filled with even more fun.
