Crafting/ Potluck Meetup

Last weekend I went to a Lolita meetup, this time we had a potluck and crafting group. It was pretty cool since we rented out a room at Michaels, if you needed anything you could go and shop in the store and get a discount too. Michelle brought some pancit and lumpia and I love filipino food! It was very very good and she did a great job hosting. Thanks Michelle!

I got to wear my new Innocent World OP and I'm glad I did. It was a very hot day and the light material really helped to keep me cool. I decided not to wear socks but I think it works ok for this coord.

Outfit rundown
OP, bow, bag: Innocent World
Shoes: Bodyline

Scones <3

Yummy food!
I made the pink heart scones and the onigiri. I'm glad everyone liked them!

Crafting time
And I brought some fabric and lace to make headbows but next craft meetup I think we should focus on a specific item to make. Deciding what to do was really hard and I think everyone would have a much easier time if we all worked on the same project.

It was hilarious though when we were making star bracelets, the ends of the elastic would come undone and beads flew everywhere. We were shaking out stars from our pettis when it was time to pack up. Somehow I managed to make one bracelet but it was like the only thing I got done lol.

Group photo

I always have a lot of fun with this group, it's just so easy to get along with everyone and all the girls are so nice. Thanks for having me guys!

Lolita Christmas Card Exchange

So this year I decided to join the Christmas card exchange on EGL again. I got my card in the mail today and it's very cute! It features pink with white dots and has a scalloped edge. And the glitter, I love glitter. <3

Inside of the card
(such nice handwriting!)

It's hard to see on the second photo but there's a snowman next to the handwritten message and a few snow flakes at the top.

I sent out the card for my partner today which is a couple days late ;__; but I think it should still arrive before Christmas. I hope she likes it! Since I can't wait to show it I'll share a scan I did before I sent it out.

Front of my card

I did a quick illustration with fine felt tip pen and then I punched two holes at the top of both the picture and some purple card stock. I attached the two with sheer purple ribbon tied into a bow. And on the inside I glued another piece of paper with a handwritten message. I was trying for an old fashion Christmas time cartoon but I'm not sure I achieved that. What you do guys think? I'm so excited I can't wait for her to get it!
