I was in such a rush to get my present sent out that I didn't take any wip photos. But I hope she enjoyed the things I made her. I made her a matching hairbow and bow brooch using a solid pink fabric and then hand stitched some crystals and pearls to dress it up, then I made smaller a set of hairbows with a cute repeating rose pattern and another set with a mint green floral print. And lastly I made her a little felt lolita to hang on the Christmas tree.

International Lolita Day 2012
Hello, hope everyone is having a good holiday so far! Here are some photos from International Lolita Day that I never got around to uploading.
This year Tia and I had tea the day after since we couldn't celebrate it on Saturday with everyone else. And lucky us our favorite tea house changed it's hours so we could go on Sunday! Since she wanted to wear her new Love Nadia skirt I wore my jsk to match her print.

Lolita Secret Santa Meetup
A couple weeks ago I went to a Secret Santa meetup with my local community. I decided to wear a Christmas themed coord since there were a lot of Christmas events going on downtown. We all met up at the tea room to exchange gifts and have dinner, then we wandered around in a big group to check out all the fun stuff that was going on.
We got so many stares while we were having tea, people would just stop to look at us through the big windows and wave. Except for the one drunk guy there were mostly friendly reactions so I didn't mind so much and we posed for a picture with a couple little girls. It was too cute!
I was the photographer for this meetup so I have a lot of photos to share. Actually blogger's giving me a hard time so I'll try to share my favorites >.<;;;

October Outfits
I went to a local convention called Fandom Con and since it was so close to Halloween the kids got to wear the costumes I made them. Jaiden was so excited to be his favorite super hero Super Why and little Derek was a baby bear. They were too cute!
And here's my outfit for Sunday. I tried to go for a gothic lolita look but I might have failed lol.

Catch up!
It's been awhile since I've posted, so sorry for that! Life has been hectic these past few months and I haven't had time to sit down and blog like I usually do.
First I have some exciting news! I'm engaged and we're getting married May of next year!
We're both so excited and we've been neck deep in wedding planning. The ceremony will take place at a beautiful historic church and if I don't change my mind by then, I'll be wearing a lolita dress for my wedding gown!
And in other news, this weekend is Fandom Con and I can't wait. I'll be sure to take lots of photos to share with you guys and I'll have some outfit snaps too. Only problem is that I can't make up my mind on what to wear! It's finally getting cool enough to wear layers here in Florida so now half my closet has become available as an option to wear.
I'm thinking I'll do a school girl themed outfit for Saturday, and on Sunday I have a classic/gothic outfit laid out. I might turn that one into a vampire theme if I have time to pick up some nice fangs.
And because it's so close to Halloween the boys are going to wear their costumes. This year is the first year that Jaiden picked out his own costume. I'm so proud of him for picking out an educational super hero, Super Why. I could have bought the party city version but it looks really bad, I figure I could make it myself so that he can wear it over and over again. And after having 2 sewing machines crap out on me, I've finally gotten started on Derek's baby bear costume. Hopefully I can get it all done in time, wish me luck!
